Baroque curb bit in the style of the Portuguese Riding School
Baroque curb bit made of stainless steel with a brass flower emblem. The reins are suspended away from the mouth, which means the horse cannot easily catch them with its lips. The Mullen Mouth bar mouthpiece, optimized by Lopez and anatomically shaped, is well received by many horses, as it sits very evenly on the tongue and is cushioned by it. Horses with very thick and fleshy tongues in particular benefit from the mouthpiece, which is curved along its entire length.
The design of the side parts corresponds to the curb bits that are traditionally used in the Portuguese Riding School in Lisbon. The Baroque curb bit can be used bare or in combination with a snaffle.
The curb bit is made by Lopez in Spain.
If your horse is between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for this model.
