Baroque curb bit with flower application made of iron & Mullen Mouth mouthpiece
Beautiful baroque curb bit made of black burnished iron with a brass flower emblem. The slightly S-shaped sides ensure that the horse cannot easily catch it with its lips. The anatomically shaped Mullen Mouth bar mouthpiece, optimized by Lopez, is well received by many horses as it sits very evenly on the tongue and is cushioned by it. Horses with very thick and fleshy tongues in particular benefit from the mouthpiece that is curved along its entire length. The burnished iron stimulates the horse's saliva production through natural oxidation processes and the formation of rust.
The curb bit is made by Lopez in Spain.
If your horse is between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for this model.

Care instructions for burnished iron
Rust will form on traditional, burnished products or product components after some time. This is due to natural oxidation processes and is not a quality defect, but an essential and intended characteristic of this material. To maintain the dark color, it is recommended to occasionally rub the affected parts with a cloth soaked in olive oil.
