Baucher bit FINE LINE with a particularly thin, slightly curved bar mouthpiece. Bit thickness 14 mm. The upper bars are slightly curved outwards to ensure an optimal fit. In an exclusive PICADERA edition made of Sweet Copper.

Sweet Copper is a solid, high-quality alloy with 89% copper content. It is very strong and nickel-free. The sweet taste ensures that the Baucher bit is readily accepted by the horse and encourages chewing and mouth activity.

Effect of the Baucher Bar

The bridle is fastened using the short upper bars. In combination with the unbroken bar, the Baucher bit sits very quietly and stably in the mouth. The particularly thin FINE LINE bar mouthpiece is suitable for all horses with little space in the mouth and/or a short mouth gap.

The Baucher bit has no leverage due to the lack of a lower bar and is used without a chin chain. When the reins are pulled, the Baucher bar moves more towards the corner of the mouth and has an effect there. This has an uprighting effect on many horses.

The right size for the Baucher bit

Under "Size Guide" (see above) you will find the actual dimensions of the Fine Line mouthpiece. If you are unsure, we recommend that you compare the actual dimensions of your existing bit with those of the Baucher bit to find the right size. Please note that the side parts should fit tightly to the corners of your horse's mouth.
