Spanish loose ring snaffle made of burnished iron with a single-jointed, solid mouthpiece. Bit thickness 13 mm. The continuous rings of the loose ring snaffle allow the horse to position the bit in its mouth itself. Through natural oxidation processes and the formation of rust, the burnished iron stimulates the horse's salivation.
The snaffle bit is made by Lopez in Spain.

Care instructions for burnished iron
Rust will form on traditional, burnished products or product components after some time. This is due to natural oxidation processes and is not a quality defect, but an essential and intended characteristic of this material. To maintain the dark color, it is recommended to occasionally rub the affected parts with a cloth soaked in olive oil.

Loose ring snaffles with continuous rings can have a play of up to 0.5 cm on both sides of the horse's mouth. If your horse is undecided between two sizes, we recommend that you choose the larger size for this model.
