Baroque semi-bridle in Portuguese style
Reduced to the essentials and with a narrow leather width of 15 mm, the semi-bridle ensures a particularly minimalist look on the horse's head. With curved Cortesia buckles to accentuate the simple headpiece.
The semi-bridle is used particularly in academic riding. It can also be used as a backing strap, for example to extend an existing snaffle bridle to a curb bridle. The semi-bridle is also perfect for additionally buckling a bit when working with a cavesson.
The baroque semi-bridle is handmade in Spain. Made from brown, vegetable-tanned cowhide with silver-colored Cortesia buckles.

The buckles press into the horse's face 🥲
Dear Raya, thank you for your feedback. I'm not quite sure what you mean. The only part of the buckle that points towards the horse's head is the small bar to which the pin is attached. This part is covered in leather and therefore does not touch the horse 🙂 I hope the bridle can still convince you of its function. Best wishes, Fanni

Very nice bridle, great leather. Due to the size I added more holes and shortened it.
For ponies of this size, the choice of semi-bridles is rather limited.
