Baroque semi cavesson with softly padded nosepiece and chin pad made of pure leather – without Nose iron or metal chain.

The semi cavesson is a replacement noseband suitable for our Baroque Bridles and Double Rein Bridles CORELLI. These are equipped with small noseband loops that are integrated into the bit straps. The semi-caveson is simply threaded through them and therefore has a stable fit. It can of course be used with any other bridle with suitable openings.

Reins or long reins can be buckled into the rings of the semi-cavesson. This makes it ideal for bitless riding or hand work. The distance between the rings is deliberately not too wide, so that the positioning effect takes place more on the central nose area, similar to a cavesson or caveçon - in contrast to a sidepull, where the effect takes place more on the side of the horse's head.

The semi cavesson can be used with four reins in combination with a bit. It is also possible to use the nose with two reins alone by simply fastening the bit "blindly", i.e. without reins. This combination is therefore also suitable for gently getting the young horse used to the bit. Please note that this type of bridle is not designed for working with strong one-sided pull, such as when lunging.

The semi cavesson is made from brown, vegetable-tanned cowhide in Spain. With silver-colored baroque buckles.

The semi cavesson is one size fits all with a large adjustment range, so in our experience it fits horses from Cob / VB to WB size.
