Baroque stirrups made of stainless steel with antique finish

High-quality baroque stirrups in Portuguese style made of black burnished, rust-proof stainless steel with an antique finish. The brushed surface creates a unique look and each stirrup is unique. With subtle decoration on the tread, stirrup and attachment for the stirrup straps. The small opening on the side is perfect for attaching the stirrup with a stirrup holder, as is common on baroque saddles, without it slipping.

The stirrups have a particularly wide tread compared to most commercially available baroque stirrups. This reduces the risk of getting stuck and they can also be used with wider winter boots, for example.

The generous tread offers the forefoot a larger support surface than conventional stirrups. Riders who tend to only pick up the stirrup with their toes can particularly benefit from this and provide their feet with additional relief.

The stirrups are made in Spain and are delivered in pairs.

Frenería y Romanas López is a craft business founded in 1850 and based in Cortegana, Andalusia. The town is known for its many traditional craft businesses, which primarily serve the agricultural production in the region. The ancestors of the current owners supplied bits and spurs for local riders. At López, the love of craftsmanship and the secrets of producing high-quality metal goods have been passed down from father to son for five generations. Over the centuries, the blacksmithing skills and manufacturing processes have been constantly refined. Even today, López combines modern manufacturing processes with traditional craftsmanship. Without losing the craftsmanship knowledge, traditional products of high quality and contemporary variety are still manufactured.
