Mosqueros - more than just a snaffle ornament

Mosqueros are a typical accessory in the Spanish riding style. They consist of several tassels, also called borlas. But Mosqueros serve not only as a fancy snaffle decoration. They have two more advantages. For example, they keep annoying flies away from the horse's head. Since Mosqueros bobs along with every step the horse takes, they can serve as an aid. As pendulums, they indicate whether the horse is walking consistently in time. The purer the beat, the more evenly the Mosquero swings along.

The Mosqueros at Picadera are available in three different versions in different colors. There are models with 20 and 25 borlas in the colors cream, brown, black, red and yellow. The leather edition is available in black and brown.

All models are equipped with two leather straps on the back to attach them to the bridle. This also fits the browband VAQUERO .
