Baroque cavesson in Portuguese style
The Cavesson or Caveçon is a cavesson in the French style, which gets its certain Portuguese-Baroque touch from the curved Cortesia buckles. The flexible link chain in the nosepiece allows it to be shaped to fit any horse's nose, as well as more precise action compared to heavy models with a wide noseband. This makes the Cavesson ideal for the groundwork and the bitless in-hand work . The jaw strap prevents the cheekpiece from slipping close to the eye. The outer rings are fixed and allow reins or long reins to be attached. For lunging, the lunge can be buckled into the middle, swivel-mounted ring.
Handmade in Spain. Made from dark brown, oiled quality leather with gold-colored cortesia buckles and black burnished rings.

Care instructions for burnished iron
Rust forms on traditional, burnished products or product components after some time. This is caused by natural oxidation processes and is not a quality defect, but an essential characteristic of this material. To maintain the dark color, it is advisable to rub the affected parts occasionally with a cloth soaked in olive oil.
