Mosqueros
Mosqueros - more than just a bridle decoration
Mosqueros are a typical accessory in Spanish riding. They consist of several tassels, also called borlas. But mosqueros do not only serve as a chic bridle decoration. They have two other advantages. For example, they keep annoying flies away from the horse's head. Since mosqueros bob along with every step the horse takes, they can serve as an aid. As a pendulum, they indicate whether the horse is walking steadily in time. The purer the beat, the more evenly the mosquero swings along.
The Mosqueros at Picadera are available in three different versions in different colours. There are models with 20 and 25 borlas in the colours cream, brown, black, red and yellow. The leather edition is available in black and brown.
All models have two leather straps on the back to attach them to the bridle. This also fits the browband VAQUERO .
