Baroque double bridle Portuguese style

Whether for show, competition or everyday training - with a leather width of only 15 mm, this stylish, high-quality bridle makes the horse's head look particularly elegant. The curved Cortesia buckles of the double bridle add effective accents to the otherwise simple headpiece. The noseband is securely guided in a separate loop integrated into the cheek pieces.

The second bit is suspended via an additional crownpiece with cheekpiece. The buckling of the bit can be chosen freely, depending on the desired height of the noseband. For a slightly lower fit of the noseband on the horse's head, the bit is buckled to the pair of bit straps with noseband . For a higher fit of the noseband, the bit can be buckled at the underlaying crownpiece with cheekpieces.

Delivery includes two pairs of smooth leather reins, which are also suitable for the classic in-hand work . The snaffle reins are fitted with a Cortesia buckle in the middle and are separable. The leather curb reins are equipped with a sliding leather loop and are overlapped in the middle with a discreet decorative seam.

The Baroque double bridle is handmade by Gómez in Spain. Made of brown vegetable-tanned cowhide with gold cortesia buckles.

Many functions in one bridle

The seperate crownpiece with cheekpiece of the double bridle can be easily removed. This means that the bridle can also be used with only one bit, e.g. as a snaffle bridle or with a curb bit. For full flexibility, depending on the requirements of the horse's training. The crownpiece with cheekpiece can be used separately as a semi bridle - for a particularly minimalist look on the horse's head.

Size & Fit of double bridle CORELLI

The double bridle is made in the Iberian one size fits all - perfect for the long and narrow heads of Iberian breeds, such as PRE, Andalusian horse or Lusitanos. Due to the wide adjustment range of the cheek pieces, in our experience it fits most horses with Cob to Full heads.
