Baucher bits

Increasingly popular are the Baucher bits. Due to their suspension on the upper beams, they lie particularly quietly in the mouth and have no leverage. At Picadera you will find Baucher bits in English, Spanish and baroque styles.

Burnished bits

Burnished iron is the traditional material used to make bits in Spain. It rusts on contact with liquid and is also known as "Sweet Iron" due to the sweet taste of rust. The Picadera range includes burnished Baucher bits and Spanish curbs.

Portuguese curbs

The Portuguese Curb Bit Balao looks very elegant thanks to the gold or silver-colored brass. The thin mouthpiece with low port is attached to the side piece with a little vertical play. This allows the horse to position the bit itself and stimulates chewing activity. The baroque curb bits have a similar look to the Portuguese curb bits.
